Trimnal turns ardour into Waggin Tails

ASHEBORO — Melissa Trimnal has grew to become her ardour for dog care into a new business.

Waggin Tails Dog Salon opened at 436 W. Salisbury St., Asheboro, in August. A grand opening Saturday added the community to Trimnal; the salon's mascot, Wags the Dog; and the salon's functions.

The store makes a speciality of dog grooming and presents $15 baths, $8 nail trims and $25 mini grooms "which is basically trimming them up, not doing lots hair grooming."

The enterprise' motto says all of it: "Wagging tails are chuffed tails here."

Trimnal said there's a lot of chuffed individuals, too, with pals and and elderly folks "who form of are available in and play with the canines, which is type of therapy — free remedy."

Trimnal talked about she has been in the dog care enterprise for years, working in the past for Southern Tails Dog Salon, found across the road from her new enterprise.
