Authorities locate 500 kilos of pot, 43 cats in Ohio home

PRAIRIE TOWNSHIP, Ohio -- About 500 pounds of marijuana value an estimated $600,000 became seized from a home by Franklin County sheriff's deputies.

It wasn't the most effective component they found: basically one hundred marijuana vegetation had been growing in a yard behind the home and there have been forty three cats living inside, WCMH Channel four experiences.

Deputies became privy to the domestic after responding to a name on Sept. 11 at a motel next door. Officers reportedly could scent the marijuana and noticed the flowers after they walked towards the home.

The plants were hidden with the aid of a row of sunflowers, reviews say.

The marijuana, flowers and cats have been removed from the domestic after deputies bought a search warrant. The cats have been turned over to family members of the person living within the home, identified as Greg Grossholz, fifty nine, in response to 10tv.com.

Grossholz is charged with manufacture of drugs or cultivation of marijuana.

Prairie Township is located simply west of Columbus.
