seventy one dogs discovered living in filthy circumstances in Lehigh Valley

upper SAUCON TWP., Pa. (WPVI) --

Dozens of canines have been rescued from deplorable circumstances within the Lehigh Valley.

The Lehigh County Humane Society says the 71 beagles were discovered dwelling in a grimy home in higher Saucon Township Saturday night.

The Humane Society was called to the home for noise complaints, but were now not expecting to discover that many canine.

they say the beagles are in bad fitness, but are improving.

The Humane Society is inquiring for wet pet food to feed the beagles. they are saying they can always use donations of towels and sheets for bedding and bathing. They also need leashes. Their handle is 640 Dixon highway, Allentown, Pa. 18103.

Donations can also be made to the preserve at www.thelehighcountyhumanesociety.org.

The canine' former proprietor might be charged with animal cruelty.
