WHEELERSBURG, Ohio (WSAZ) -- A family unit turned into sickened after their cat changed into found dead and mutilated.

They believe a twisted individual tortured and killed their pet. The family showed us photos, however they're too photo to share.

"He helped me via suicide stuff, just depression all around," she talked about.

"It became a time in my lifestyles after I wasn't able to be there for her, so she sought help via an animal," Molly's mom, Rachel Queen, spoke of, "and that animal replaced me, and it be very unhappy that anything she cherished so tons needs to be taken from her."

The cat went missing from her family's domestic in Wheelersburg per week ago.

Tuesday, her grandpa was driving when he saw Bootsy and an additional cat dead on Hayport highway, only a mile from domestic.

"He was in items," Molly noted. "He become reduce in pieces. They were both dismembered."

The family says the sheriff's department instructed them it feels like the cats had been frozen earlier than they had been chop up, because there were no blood stains.

"I have so lots anger and hate in my heart for whoever did this," Molly talked about.
