2 canine abandoned in near-freezing temps at Hillsborough dog park, police say
HILLSBOROUGH, N.C. (WTVD) --
Two canine had been left on my own and bloodless in a dog park in Hillsborough on Sunday evening, police believe.Hillsborough Police department posted photos of the dogs on the station's facebook web page.Sunday night, temperatures dropped to the higher 30s, based on ABC11's big weather.
Officers heard barking coming from Gold Park. Upon investigation, they discovered the canines locked within the closed dog park.

Neither dog had on a collar, but each of them had been friendly and seemed smartly cared for.
Officers noted they haven't determined who the canine belong to or why they have been left alone within the dog park.Orange County Animal capabilities picked up the dogs and took them to a guard.
