60 unwell canine Saved, 1 found lifeless In domestic dog Mill Arrest

WEBSTER COUNTY, GA –Sixty unwell dogs had been saved and one changed into found lifeless in a Webster County puppy mill arrest Tuesday.

The proprietor of the dogs, Glenda Albritton, 71, surrendered herself to the Webster County Sheriff's office for fees of felony aggravated cruelty to animals and misdemeanour cruelty to animals. Bond was set at $sixty five,000.

The Atlanta Humane authorized 40 of the canines from Terrell County Humane Society who had been seized from the property.

The dogs, primarily Yorkie and Havanese breeds, are littered with a considerable number of clinical circumstances, many have heartworm and very nearly all have raveled fur, based on the Humane Society. The canine range from 7 months to 10 years of age.

"The canines not being delivered to the Atlanta Humane Society have been too ill to move and are receiving scientific treatment through Terrell County Animal handle," pointed out Christina Hill, director of advertising and communications for the Atlanta Humane Society.

"Grooming and medical assessments are the immediate challenge," she talked about. "we will put each and every on an individualized scientific plan and place them up for adoption as each individual animal is medically cleared."

The dogs arrived at the Atlanta Humane Society Mansell Campus round 3 p.m. Friday.
